We resisted this initially but couldn't deny that an entirely new category was developing, as more individuals were being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and more people were choosing a diet that did not include wheat. We realized that it was time for our entirely wheat based product line to make room for Gluten Free.
In January, 2013 we experienced the “last straw that broke the camel’s back” when one of our brokers said “boy I wish you guys had a gluten free crouton”. That was it, heads down and moving forward like bulls, we set out to make an awesome gluten free crouton that would out-taste, out-texture and out-crunch anything else on the market and be more nutritious too.
We’ve done it. We’ve set up an entirely new dedicated kitchen, off the farm where we make our new Gluten Free Garlic croutons. The same quality that you have come to expect from our original product line will now be available in Olivia’s Gluten Free. Watch for more products to come!
